What is the diameter of the clock that goes into the brake resevoir cover? Will other "stick on" type clocks fit into the recess of the cover?

It's a standard size and most any motorcycle clock will fit in it.

My bike's got two reservoirs. I've had the Kewl Clock on the left side for about 4 years (and love it) but I'd really like to balance it out with a thermometer on the other side. If I bought another do you have a thermometer insert that would fit in?
